Con motivo del Dia Internacional de la Danza 2020, tuvimos la idea de ofrecer de manera exclusiva y durante un tiempo limitado todas las películas premiadas en la última edición de nuestro festival.
Hemos intentado ser coherentes con nuestra idea de proteger y cuidar a los autores sin caer en una especie de cultura de barra libre fruto de estos tiempos extraños de confinamiento.
Lamentablemente, debido a las prioridades políticas del momento, todas las colaboraciones posibles y las puertas a las que hemos llamado no nos han permitido encontrar una fórmula justa.
Desde Fiver siempre nos hemos sentido en la necesidad de funcionar como plataforma que da a conocer y conecta al público con un género tan desconocido y minoritario como el cinedanza.
De esta manera, una vez que las piezas finalistas y premiadas han acabado su vida en el circuito de festivales, estas han pasado a formar parte de nuestra #Fiverteca, que actualmente está formada por 100 obras de los 5 continentes. Así pues, desde nuestra organización, aprovechamos el Día Internacional de la Danza para reivindicar la necesidad de proteger la cultura y poner en valor el trabajo de los artistas y profesionales que intentan vivir de ello.
Está claro que habrá que reinventarse pero en las circunstancias en las que nos encontramos “tan solo” podemos invitaros a que descubrais las joyas que forman parte de nuestra base de datos.

On the occasion of International Dance Day, we had the idea of offering exclusively, and for a limited time, all the films awarded in the last edition of our festival.
We have tried to be consistent with our idea of protecting and caring for the authors without falling into a kind of open bar culture, which is one of the results of these strange times of confinement.
Unfortunately, due to the political priorities of the moment, all possible collaborations and the doors to those we have called did not allow us to find a fair formula.
From Fiver, we have always felt the need to function as a platform that makes known and connects the public with a genre as unknown and minority as cinedanza. In this sense, once the finalists and award-winning pieces have finished their life on the festival circuit, they have become part of our #Fiverteca, which currently consists of 100 works from 5 continents.
From our organization, we just want to claim the need to protect culture and value the work of artists and professionals who live from it.
It is clear that we will have to reinvent ourselves, but, in the circumstances in which we find ourselves, “only” we can invite you to discover the jewels that are part of our database.
